NESCAFE® Presents: Show ‘em What U Got - November, 2009
Open to all youth in Bahrain
16-28 years old
Of any nationality
Male or female
Single, individual or group
Must be willing to undergo auditions
Must sign adherence to Organizers rules (upon registration)

Prizes at stake at the Grand Finals:
1st Prize - $ 1,000 plus gift & certificate
2nd Prize - $ 650 plus gift & certificate
3rd Prize - $ 350 plus gift & certificate
At the Semi-Finals:
Gift certificates, prizes from sponsors.
1. AUDITION PHASE
Each applicant shall fill up the registration form and will be assigned an entry number to be retained throughout the entire competition. Applicants should be graded according to: 60%Talent, 20%attitude, 20% personality. Only those who secure an average mark of 70% or above will be advance to the elimination phase. Only 40 Candidates shall advance to the Elimination Phase & will be notified by email or telephone.
2. ELIMINATION PHASE (Performance Skills)
The criteria will remain similar to audition phase, but more focused, rules
Regulations & judging criteria to be used throughout the Competition. They will also be given a chance to know each other & bond together
SEMI-FINALS
Criteria will be modified to include several areas for consideration.
50%-performance-talent abilities, 30%-personality-stage presence & audition interaction
20%-potential-general aptitude. Only (15) candidates shall advance to the Finals
3. REHEARSALS
The need for rehearsal before the Grand Finals shall be scheduled. This should be presented in a professional & entertaining show. Front Acts can be presented from invited professional talents.
4. GRAND FINALS
The candidates shall carry over their average scores to this phase. The Board of Judges will henceforth be judging. On the basis of criteria provided. From this phase will emerge the: Champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up.
6. CRITERIA AND JUDGING
There shall be different sets of judges for each phase of the Competition. All sets of
Criteria shall be based on the following grading system:
1. Fail
2. Very Weak
3. Weak
4. Deficient
5. Average
6. Satisfactory
7. Good
8. Very Good
9. Exceptional
To make it easy for the Judges and to minimize potential human miscalculations only
Numbers 1 to 10 to be entered in every score sheet throughout the Competition. The Judges shall be thoroughly instructed to make use of the full range of Scores from 1 to 10 in order to avoid ties.
