The original concept of the site was a place to give independent musicians a place to feature their work; we have some pretty amazing musical talents out there, but with no real support for them in any shape or form. Our mass media generally disregards them, most companies won't even consider sponsoring them, and most venues won't even venture into the idea of letting a 'local' musician perform as compared to bringing musicians from outside.
This is where the concept grew; why not have a place to promote our local artists, and give them the publicity they deserve?
The site grew quickly, and through word of mouth more and more artists started contacting the site to get featured, as more and more people started checking out the site. As the site's popularity grew, we started getting requests from different venues to have some of the artists perform, other requesting interviews with them, among other things. We've also gotten the artists together to get to know each other, work on collaborations, share information and experience, and much more.
Recently we've opened up the field to all of Bahrain's undiscovered talent; we're putting on musicians, photographers, dancers, painters, and anyone who really has a talent that needs to be shown off to the world. The next steps are bigger; we've been working collaborations with different groups and entities to expand, and hopefully do bigger things in the very-near future; keep a look out.
If you are (or know someone who is) a musician, or comes with any form of talent, get in touch! We can have your profile posted up here, and give you a portal to promote that talent.

If you're unpublished, unsigned, or unbroadcasted, you're welcome here. If you are from Bahrain, live in Bahrain, or have ever lived in Bahrain, you're welcome here. If you're great at what you do, you're welcome here. If you suck, you're also welcome here. This is a place to bring out the hidden talent of Bahrain to the world, and maybe even get a few people signed up for something bigger in the process.
